What We Do

At GHI, our work is grounded in a simple idea: better systems and stronger communities lead to better health outcomes.

We design and deliver programs that address some of the most pressing health challenges facing vulnerable populations, particularly women, children, teenagers, and male partners. Our focus is not just on access, but on quality, continuity, and measurable impact.

Our HIV programs like the HITSystem supports prevention, treatment, and long-term care, with a strong emphasis on preventing mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT). Alongside this, our maternal and child health initiatives work to ensure that mothers and young children exposed to HIV Exposed Infants receive the care and support they need at every stage—from pregnancy through early childhood.

Our cervical cancer program, the CATSystem focuses on early detection, prevention, and timely treatment to reduce the burden of a disease that is both preventable and curable when identified early. We support screening initiatives, including HPV testing and visual inspection methods, while strengthening referral systems to ensure women who require further care receive it without delay. Working closely with health facilities and communities, we also promote awareness and education to encourage regular screening, particularly among high-risk populations, including women living with HIV.

What sets GHI apart is how we integrate technology and data into healthcare delivery. We build and deploy digital health solutions that strengthen health systems, improve reporting, and enable real-time decision-making at the facility and program level. This allows healthcare providers to work more efficiently and ensures that no patient is lost in the system.

Our work is also driven by evidence. Through research and program evaluation, we continuously assess what works, refine our approaches, and contribute to broader knowledge that informs policy and practice.
