Dr. May Maloba leads Global Health Innovations with a steadfast commitment to advancing equitable, data-driven improvements in health outcomes across Kenya and the wider region. As Chief Executive Director, she provides strategic vision and executive oversight for all organizational functions, driving innovation in research, digital health, and program implementation. Her leadership shapes GHI’s mission to deliver high-impact interventions tailored to vulnerable populations, particularly HIV-affected mothers and infants, women at risk of cervical cancer, adolescents, and underserved communities.

Under her guidance, GHI has strengthened research collaborations with local and international partners, showcased through global knowledge exchanges and evidence dissemination, including high-profile presentations on community-based cancer control strategies at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. May also contributes to scientific inquiry and evidence generation, engaging in implementation research that evaluates and refines health systems innovations such as the HIV Infant Tracking System (HITSystem), which has demonstrably improved retention and outcomes in early infant diagnosis programs.

What She Does at GHI:
